About Me

Since my role as CEO of Jive, I have kept busy on numerous projects. I am a Board Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, a co-founder and active Board Member at Crushpath, an investor and advisor to numerous early stage companies, and sit on a number of boards, including the nonprofit Wildaid.

I currently live in the hippie-chic enclave of Mill Valley in Marin, surrounded by three artistic females in the form of my wife and two daughters.

This site is primarily for my writings on the psychological transformation from founder, to CEO, to early-stage team during the creation of a successful venture. My goal is to turn these ideas into a book over time, and I’m looking for your feedback. All input and suggestions are most welcome!

And here’s my great grandfather, who was a traveling Vaudeville clown in the late 1800’s.
